Amazing tacos..... Actually amazing everything

I'm so glad we googled places to eat... we found this tiny gem in the middle of hotels. This is an authentic Mexican restaurant. I would highly recommend this place. If you love tacos they have a great deal. Can't beat paying $1.50 for a delicious taco. The owner has great customer service. Will definitely stop by and visit when we are in town.

Real mexican food. Very good! Just make sure you have cash. No credit cards.

Google says open. The windows are shut and nothing on the times and door says nothing about being closed. So I don't know if they are open or shut down...

Food is delicious and so flavorful definitely 5 stars, it is authentic Mexican food the owner is so friendly I had a good conversation with him he is such a nice man with a big heart he loves cooking for his clients I definitely recommend to at least stop here to eat once if your are in the area best Mexican food in all of South Lake Tahoe hands down

Listen, everyone knows a Mexican restaurant is judged off 2 things, rice and beans. If they can do those right everything else is a lock, guaranteed. These are the best beans I have ever had, (pinto/refried). Kind of a gem. Eat here and be happy.

Great tacos at an unbeatable price

Not fancy, small dinner, maybe fits 24 people. However, food is good and affordable, Red salsa is spicy, yes enough to make you sweat.. no fried onions or chilli, bommer! Draw back is that is cash ONLY. Overrall, is a decent place with real Mexican food.

Hot damn! The special spicey sauce is totally worth the visit. Simple digs yet warm and welcoming.

This food was awesome! So authentic. My only complaint was that it was slow to get the food out to us. (Granted we had like 7 or 8 people with us)

Don't let location / appearance fool you. Authentic Mexican food - family owned and very friendly. Everything is handmade - their beans, Pico de gallo, sauces, drinks all are authentic & delicious. Very affordable. Had a Super (Chicken) burrito - delicious! ! Also Super Ahogado (Chicken) Burrito (homemade Spicy red sauce) flavorful, unique and really good. Everything is made fresh....and it is GOOD!!

Cheap food. I got a quesadilla for $3 and tacos are $1.50. The salsa is actually HOT! Seating is fairly limited inside, would be hard to eat here with a group bigger than 6 (preferably 4). The air conditioning is a bit weak but, no big deal.

It took 45 minutes to get TWO TACOS !!! BAD SERVICE

Best authentic Mexican food in South Lake Tahoe. And the best prices in town. Real home made food. No Sysco involved here. Straight good food. Only thing you gotta bring cash. The owner is old school

I went by at 5:00pm and the sign says closed Aug 8th.☹️ I was looking forward to a good street taco.

I went there because one of the reviews mentioned carne asada was good. Not much flavor, it was ok. No chips and salsa. Place is really small.

I had the Supper Burrito, yum factor was probably close to 5 stars! My lady had the tacos, very yummy of coarse. This place is small, but has good food. The prices are very good considering its the expensive Tahoe area. Its good to know there are still affordable places to eat around here.

Excellent tacos for extremely reasonable prices. Very authentic and flavorful, cooked fresh by the owner and his wife. Our party ordered carnitas, carne asada, and chicken tacos with beans and rice and everything was great. Definite must stop if looking for a light lunch or dinner.

Solid late night Mexican spot with the right food to fill your craves. Good prices. Only reason I’m docking a star is cause the tacos were a bit dry and lacking. Meat was dry and plain. Besides that, it’s a cute place with good quesadillas and salsa! Ate the tacos before I remembered to get a pic

My husband and I love finding these hidden treasures. The tacos and burritos are beyond tasty! Trully authentic food and VERY well made.They make everything from scratch. Alejandro was super nice and friendly. Oh and by the way, the prices are so reasonable too.We are going to go back every day for the rest of our vacation at South Lake Tahoe. We can't get enough. Definitely a must if you're vacationing here.

We got a super size burrito with beans and rice on the side. After seeing the size if the burrito we probably didn't need the side of beans and rice. Well the burrito was awesome. It was plenty for 2 of us. We got 3 sauces which were fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back. Yummy!😋 did I mention it was cheap. Less than 10 bucks!

Great flavoured food, large portions, cheap prices and you will be served by the happiest Mexican I’ve met. I had the super burrito with marinated beef and would highly recommend. Self serve salsa but no beers.

The food was great but the service wasnt. We ordered some food there and to go...when we finished our meal, about 45 minutes, the to go order was still not ready. It was just me and my friend in the restraunt-not busy at all. But if you're a hardcore Chivas futbol fan, maybe you and the owner can chomp it up

This place serves truly authentic Mexican street food at decent prices, especially compared to the restaurants in Heavenly Village. The owner is a kind man who clearly takes a lot of pride in his cooking, often reminding customers that he makes a point to use fresh ingredients. The restaurant is clearly a labor of love for him, and it shows through the quality of the food.

Cook was soo nice and Tacos were awesome at a great price! Good size and they have condiments for you to grab. I LOVE LOTS of onion and cilantro so that was good I could help myself. I will be going back!

Great food so far what I have got and try is pretty good there meat's are so good I believe that's what gives flavor to all that food they sell there I recommend Las tortas the bread is pretty good

I appreciate the short walk from my motel! It salsa is SPICY! Just put a little bit out, or risk getting spiced out! I LOVE CHEAP TACOS!

Wow! The food was large and delicious. A bit off the typical touristy area but only a few blocks. The prices were amazing, two of us ate for half what it would have cost pretty much anywhere else. Bring cash though no credit cards accepted. So glad we found this hidden gem.
